The Atelier

An art school for one.

Jelveh — from the Persian جلوه, the moment beauty reveals itself — is a private atelier devoted to the slow, luminous craft of painting.

There are no crowded classrooms here, no one-size-fits-all curricula. Each programme of study is composed around a single student: your eye, your hand, your ambitions. Whether you are lifting your first wash of cerulean or preparing a portfolio for exhibition, every session is a private masterclass.

Lessons are held in a light-filled studio and, for those further afield, in an equally considered online format — with materials, exercises and critique tailored entirely to you.

The Artist

Dr. Attieh Moezoddin

Scholar of space and light. Painter of its poetry.

With a doctorate in the Built Environment, Dr. Moezoddin brings a rare architecture of thought to the canvas — a trained understanding of proportion, perspective, structure and the behaviour of light that most painters spend a lifetime intuiting.

At Jelveh, she distils that knowledge into an intimate teaching practice: patient, exacting, and devoted to revealing the artist already present in every student.
